F1 · Access panel with hinged door

The F1 access panel features a door with fixed hinges that remains attached to the frame when opened. This system eliminates the need to completely remove the door and facilitates frequent access to the installations.

Its aluminum frame and integrated plasterboard allow the final surface finish to be applied, achieving a discreet and uniform installation.

It can be installed in walls, partitions, drywall systems, and suspended plasterboard ceilings.

It is recommended for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, telecommunications, ductwork, and technical equipment access points in homes, offices, shops, public buildings, and renovation projects.

If you need a fully removable door, consult the F2 system.

Before cutting, check the hatch's exterior dimensions, the actual thickness of the panel, the opening direction, and ensure there are no concealed utilities in the installation area.

Also verify that there is sufficient space to open the door fully.

Carefully insert the frame into the opening and use suitable fasteners for the drywall system. Distribute the fasteners evenly to prevent warping.

During joint compound and painting work, protect the hinges and closing mechanism. Prevent joint compound, paint, or debris from entering the moving parts.

Once the finish is completely dry, open and close the hatch several times to ensure the door is aligned, does not rub, and closes properly.

Do not force the door if you encounter resistance, and do not use it to support loads.

Select the variant that matches the actual thickness of the board installed in the wall or ceiling:

• 12.5 mm board: for systems built with 12.5 mm plasterboard.

• 15 mm board: for systems built with 15 mm plasterboard.

Before placing the order, check the board thickness and the required opening size.

Choosing the wrong thickness may prevent the access panel from being properly integrated with the surface finish.
