Affordable EAK access panel for walls and ceilings
The EAK is a practical and affordable solution for creating inspection access in walls and plasterboard suspended ceilings. Its integrated aluminium frame and panel provide a discreet surface finish.
For which installations is it suitable?
For accessing electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing, telecommunications installations and other services that require periodic inspection or maintenance in homes, offices and commercial premises.
What to choose before buying
- Support: plasterboard walls and suspended ceilings.
- Plasterboard: 12.5 mm. Check that it is suitable for your installation.
- Size: select the dimensions in centimetres and check the cut-out size before cutting.
Installation cut-out size
Add 5 mm to the width and 5 mm to the height of the selected size when preparing the installation cut-out.
For example, for a 40 × 40 cm access panel, the cut-out must measure 40.5 × 40.5 cm. The additional 5 mm applies to each overall dimension, not to each side.

Installation and safety
Installation and safety
Before cutting, check the product's external dimensions, the final position of the access panel, the opening direction, and ensure there are no concealed installations in the mounting area.
The access panel must be installed on a stable support, using suitable fixings for the drywall system.
Carefully insert the frame into the opening, check that it is level, and distribute the fixings evenly to prevent warping.
During plastering and painting, protect the opening mechanism. Prevent filler, paint, or debris from coming into contact with the moving parts.
Once the finish is completely dry, perform several opening and closing tests. Do not force the panel if you encounter resistance, and check that it closes correctly after each use.
