B2 · Metal access panel with push-to-open latch

The B2 access panel is made of galvanized steel sheet with a RAL 9016 white finish. It features concealed push-to-open latches that allow it to be opened by gently pressing on the panel.

It is particularly suitable for inspection points that require quick and frequent access while maintaining a clean appearance, with no visible lock on the front.

It can be used to access electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and telecommunications installations, shut-off valves, meters, ducts, and service shafts.

It is compatible with plasterboard walls and ceilings, as well as solid supports, using appropriate fixings for the material.

Before cutting the opening, check the hatch's nominal size, the exact cut-out dimensions, the type of support, and the opening direction.

The technical documentation generally states that the opening must correspond to the nominal size ordered plus 10 mm.

Examples:

• B2 20 × 20 cm: 21 × 21 cm opening required.

• B2 30 × 30 cm: 31 × 31 cm opening required.

• B2 40 × 40 cm: 41 × 41 cm opening required.

• B2 50 × 50 cm: 51 × 51 cm opening required.

• B2 60 × 60 cm: 61 × 61 cm opening required.

During installation, position the frame in the opening, check that it is level, and gradually adjust the four adjustable fasteners without deforming the frame.

For ceiling installations, use fasteners compatible with the support, carefully check the strength of the fasteners, and ensure that all latches are correctly engaged.
